Kathleen currently teaches at the Art League of Long Island in Dix Hills (www.artleagueli.org) and at her new studio space "Studio 44" in Glen Head.

Studio 44 is located at 44 Railroad Plaza in Glen Head, across from the train station. Kathleen shares the space with Jane Irvine, another local artist, who works with dichroic glass (www.janesartglass.com).

4 weeks, $180. Space is limited to 7 students.

Learn the basics of working in metal. Learn how to pierce or saw, solder, form, and finish. Projects can be rings, pendants, bracelets and/or earrings. Advanced students will learn new techniques and be assisted on projects of their own design.

Beginner to Intermediate Jewelry Making

4 weeks, $180. Space is limited to 6 students.

Building on your basic skills of jewelry making, you will learn new techniques through demonstrations each week. Bring an idea we can complete together or I will give you ideas for a new project. Some basic materials will be available for sale or I can special order anything you may need.

*Use of copper, brass and tools in the studio are included.

*Signing up for one class at a time is an option- Just let me know ahead of time, which day you can attend.

Refreshments and snacks will be served.

One-on-one instruction:
If you are more comfortable with one to one instruction, that can be arranged.
